About Sports Betting Prime
A research and discovery site for people who want to understand betting markets rather than be sold a winner.
What we do
Three things. We publish evergreen guides explaining how betting markets are priced and why they move. We build free calculators that show their own formulas so you can check them. And we point readers toward handicapper records that are independently tracked, rather than toward screenshots.
That is the whole site. There is no picks package, no premium tier and no Discord.
What we rebuilt, and why
In July 2026 an audit of this site found that its automatically generated sport pages were publishing statistics that came from a random number generator: against-the-spread records, points per game, home records, defensive rankings and “sharp action” notes, none of it sourced from anywhere. A scheduled job had been republishing it three times a day. The same pages were advertising future fixtures as that day's slate — a July page listing September games as “16 Games Today”.
All of it has been removed, the generator has been deleted, and the site was rebuilt around what we can actually stand behind. We are telling you this because a site that quietly cleans up after itself has learned nothing, and because you have no reason to trust the rebuilt version if we hide the state of the old one.
The full audit, including what was wrong and what was kept, is summarised in our editorial policy.
What we will not publish
- Fabricated or estimated statistics of any kind, including ones labelled as projections
- Consensus percentages or “sharp money” claims we cannot show you the source for
- Live odds, because we have no odds feed
- Invented games, schedules or fixtures
- Guaranteed-win language, locks, or anything described as a sure thing
- Anything published automatically without a human reviewing it first
Where the numbers come from
Statistics in our MLB analysis come from the MLB Stats API, which is free and public. Every article names its source and the date the figures were current as of. Where an article has been checked claim by claim, the manifest is published with it and any correction is listed on the page.
Calculator outputs are computed in your browser from numbers you enter. Nothing is fetched.
How we make money
Sportsbook affiliate commissions, disclosed on every page that carries a link and in full on our affiliate disclosure page. Readers pay nothing.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, we would rather know. Corrections are made on the page, dated, and listed rather than silently edited. Articles that have been corrected say so at the top and the bottom.
We do not track records.
Trust My Record does.
We are a research site, not a scoreboard. For handicapper results that are timestamped before the game and graded automatically, that is where to go.
