Sunday's college basketball slate offers a lighter schedule after Saturday's marathon, but there's still plenty of action to be found. Conference play continues across multiple leagues with tournament positioning on the line. The Big Monday headliner (Syracuse at UNC) looms tomorrow, but today's games carry their own significance. Here's where the betting value exists.
12:00 PM ET | Amica Mutual Pavilion | FOX
A Big East matchup with NCAA Tournament implications for both programs. Villanova has stabilized after a rocky start and sits on the bubble with a 14-9 record. Kyle Neptune's team plays solid defense and controls tempo effectively.
Providence has been inconsistent but dangerous at home. The Friars are 9-4 at the Amica Mutual Pavilion and play with energy in front of their crowd. They struggle on the road but defend their home court well.
Home court matters in the Big East. Providence keeps this close and covers the 2.5. Look for a low-scoring, physical affair.
1:00 PM ET | CHI Health Center | FS1
Creighton is one of the Big East's best teams and plays elite basketball at home. Greg McDermott's squad ranks top-20 in offensive efficiency and shoots 38.2% from three. The Bluejays are 13-2 at the CHI Health Center this season.
Georgetown continues to struggle in Ed Cooley's rebuild. The Hoyas are 7-16 overall and just 2-10 on the road. They don't have the offensive firepower or defensive discipline to hang with Creighton for 40 minutes.
Creighton should cruise here. The Bluejays cover the 12.5 and push for 80+ points in a dominant home performance.
2:00 PM ET | Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum | ACC Network
An ACC matchup between two teams in the middle of the conference standings. Wake Forest has been solid at home (10-4) and plays an uptempo style that can overwhelm opponents. Their 3-point shooting (36.8%) keeps defenses honest.
Notre Dame has underperformed expectations this season but shows flashes of quality. The Irish struggle on the road (5-8 away from home) and don't defend consistently. Their offensive efficiency drops significantly in hostile environments.
Wake Forest at home is a different team. The Demon Deacons cover the 4.5 and control this game from start to finish.
4:00 PM ET | Thompson-Boling Arena | SEC Network
Thompson-Boling Arena is one of college basketball's toughest venues, and Rick Barnes has Tennessee playing elite defense. The Volunteers rank top-5 nationally in adjusted defensive efficiency and make opponents work for every point.
Texas A&M has been competitive in SEC play but struggles against elite defenses. The Aggies shoot just 43.1% on the road and commit too many turnovers against pressing teams. Tennessee's physicality will bother them.
This screams under. Tennessee grinds out a 62-53 type win and covers the 7.5. Take the under 136.5 with confidence.
5:30 PM ET | Carver-Hawkeye Arena | BTN
Tom Izzo's Spartans are rolling in Big Ten play and look like a legitimate Final Four contender. Michigan State's defense has tightened up considerably, and their experience shows in close games. They're 10-2 in games decided by 8 points or less.
Iowa plays an exciting brand of basketball but struggles defensively. Fran McCaffery's offense can score on anyone, but the Hawkeyes give up too many easy baskets. They're 8-6 at home this season and have dropped some games they should have won.
The Spartans' experience and defense travel well. Michigan State wins by 6-8 and covers the 3.5 in a high-scoring affair. Take the over 152.5 as well.
8:00 PM ET | Marriott Center | ESPN2
BYU has adapted well to Big 12 play and is a tough out at the Marriott Center. The Cougars' altitude advantage (4,549 feet) affects opponents late in games, and their crowd provides a significant home-court edge.
Kansas State has struggled with consistency all season. Jerome Tang's team shows flashes of the 2023 Elite Eight squad but can't sustain it for full games. They're 5-8 on the road and shoot poorly (40.1%) away from home.
BYU's home dominance continues. The Cougars cover the 5.5 and control this game in the second half when the altitude takes effect.
